Several times last season we picked out some interesting facts for the upcoming weekend games, recommending a few punts that might be worth looking at as well...some of which came in. This week is the first time we’ve looked at the stats and whilst there’s not too much to go on, there are a couple little interesting facts that might tempt you to part with your cash....read on for more.....

Craig Thomson, widely regarded as one of the SPL's top referees, this week owned up that he had made a mistake in not awarding Celtic a penalty in the weekend's Old Firm clash.
With Celtic one goal down, Davie Weir appeared to pull Shaun Maloney down in the 12th minute but Thomson chose not to blow for a penalty kick (BBC Sport Highlights).
Afterwards, Hugh Dallas spoke publicly giving his view on Thomson's performance. Please read on for his thoughts...

We recently reported on Gus MacPherson’s public criticism of Hugh Dallas (Blowing a Gus-ket) whereby he insinuated that Dallas did not want managers speaking out in criticism of our SPL whistlers.
Interestingly Hugh Dallas, Scotland's Head of Referee Development, has subsequently spoken publicly of his desire to see players doing more to stop picking up cards.
